For principals & school leaders

Overview without chasing.
Decisions without guessing.

You are accountable for results, working conditions and quality work, but the evidence is often scattered across lists, emails and gut feeling. Vklass gathers the school day in one place, and Vklass analys makes it measurable. That gives you less administration and happier teachers in the staff room.

Vklass analys

Insights from the everyday work already being recorded

Vklass analys builds on attendance, judgments, grades and plans, the work teachers already do in Vklass. Each role sees what concerns it: the principal and student health team their school, the mentor their mentees and the subject teacher their groups. The report families cover attendance, early warning, the absence process, judgments, grades, national exams and support interventions. Intervention tracking follows the whole chain from risk flag to intervention and compares attendance before and after.

  • Role-based views for school authority, principal, student health, mentor and teacher
  • Early warning and absence patterns per school and weekday
  • Intervention tracking from flag to effect
  • Statistics you can trust: the F–A distribution and Skolverket's grade points, never an average of scale steps

Quality work

Your school compared with the national figures

Systematic quality work needs comparisons. Vklass analys fetches official statistics per school unit from Skolverket, the Swedish National Agency for Education, along with SALSA model values and Kolada key figures as open data. Your school is shown against the national figures right in the tool. The equity view shows grades versus national exams, gender gaps and the School Survey's safety and study environment. In the explorer you ask your own questions: you filter by subject, year, gender and school form, and share the whole question as a link with colleagues.

  • Skolverket statistics, SALSA and Kolada built in as references
  • Curriculum coverage: how much of the syllabus your plans touch
  • Split view: compare up to four reports side by side, on a shared scale
  • Permissions decide the student level, and comparisons outside your own permissions are suppressed below ten students

Happier teachers

Systems that work give teachers a better working environment

Teachers who avoid double entry, find their groups and get help right inside the tool stay longer and feel better. In Vklass, attendance is recorded straight from the timetable with reported absences pre-filled, and plans are built on the school's shared templates. The help content is generated from the product's source code, so it always matches what teachers see on screen. That means fewer support tickets for you and more time for pedagogical leadership.

  • Shared planning templates for the unit or the organization
  • Absence alerts that notify the school automatically
  • Always-current help, generated from the source code
